Network Chiropractic Care for your Animals

How Network Chiropractic Helps Your Animals

Network Chiropractic is a very safe and gentle way to help your animals when they are in pain, recovering from surgery, anxious or transitioning in life. The nervous system regulates every single function in the body.  It regulates the muscles that may spasm with an injury, the immune system that is needed when recovering from surgery and the emotional state that is affected from past traumatic events.

The nervous system serves as the pathway for sensory information coming in and motor function going out of the body.  When there is a high level of tension in the nervous system you can almost guarantee the body will be in a state of fight or flight.  Therefore, the animal may appear nervous, hyper, anxious or agitated.

By clearing out the tension in the nervous system and opening up the channels, information is able to move more freely between the organs and throughout the body.  As the result, healing occurs more quickly, stress is released from the body, and flexibility increases because it is the the nervous system that regulates the muscles that tighten or spasm.

This is why clearing blocks of tension can unleash healing and wellbeing in the animal.

THIS CAPTION WILL CHANGE WITH EACH SLIDE

Animals are much more sensitive to energy than humans and they release tension much more quickly.

The amount of sessions needed per animal depends on the animal and their situation.  If an animal is in acute pain or just recovered from surgery, one or two visits are usually appropriate.  Anxiety and emotional related symptoms take longer because we are retraining the nervous system to maintain a calm state.

I met Dr. Lisa while trimming her horse’s hooves.  She noticed that my 6 month old Australian Shepard was limping in her hind legs.  I explained to her that she fell off the truck going 40 mph.  Nothing was broken but she was still in a lot of pain.  So Dr. Lisa adjusted her.  I was totally in shock when Pebbles was able to jump on my lap that evening.  Before she got adjusted she was unable to jump into the truck or even on the couch.  So I asked Dr. Lisa “can you do what you do to animals on people?”  She smiled and said, “of course”.
